I picked up this shirt a few weeks ago and loving it! When can I give it a soak to help soften it up and get a little shrink? Does anyone warm pre soak shirts before they wear them or early on when they're new?

@jpvisual the fabric is sanforised and one washed so with reasonable washing, it won't shrink. You might get some reduction in sleeve length as arm creases set in though. I tend to wear my shirts fresh then give them a wash when they start smelling a bit fruity

The devil is in the detail..

@AdamJ thanks! Yeah I pretty much want to see if I can get the sleeves a little shorter. I'll just wait though. I haven't taken the shirt off much in 3 weeks so not sure how long I can hold out without getting looks 😂

Is it right that shirt is slightly snug?

@Luke_is_back I am sorry, but am unsure what you are referring to. Can you please explain your question a bit better?

@Luke_is_back I had the same issue. Snug in the chest and shoulders, great everywhere else. Sizing up, great in the chest and shoulders, too big in the waist, opening and sleeve length. I don't think you'll get a good v-taper with IH western shirts if you're built like that. Something you'll just have to accept. Maybe size for your chest and shoulders and get it tailored? Not sure if that works well on denim shirts. I'm sure those who are experienced with that could comment. I can't.

@goosehd Im referring to the shirt IHSH-295-BB.
I bought the shirt in large and its slightly snug in the chest and shoulders.

                    same as @jpvisual describe 🙂

@Luke_is_back how did you determine which size to buy? Did you go by tag size or measurements?

Did you measure a well-fitting shirt according to this: https://ironheart.co.uk/pages/how-we-measure-shirts and compare to the posted product measurements?

@Tago-Mago Its not like the shirt is super snug, but I feel slightly snug at the shoulder and the chest, maybe because its denim?

I just want to know, that I should give it sometime, maybe the shirt will get looser...
