Is the pop lock connector significantly easier to operate compared to the standard connector? Does this ease of use outweigh the disadvantages?

The disadvantages of the pop lock seem to be that it’s permanently attached to a single chain and that chain must be purchased from Good Art at a higher price than third parties, even though Good Art doesn’t manufacture the ball chains themselves.

I have the regular ones and I love the elegant design and simplicity. Less moving parts and works perfectly. They’re big too. I was surprised when I first saw them.
