I love the way these guys are looking. They start creasing up really fast. I took off the metal toe caps because I was afraid to scuff up hardwood floors (and to be honest they were just plain annoying).

@FlavourFade I just wear them a lot! Used to work in them and take them on the trails around town often. They are horsebutt which seem to fold a lot more readily than the normal chromexcel ones. Mine are also a half size too snug so I think the leather is under more tension. They kinda sucked to break in but they're fine now lol

Rivet & Hide were very helpful in determining the right fit for me. These are the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever tried on right out of the box.

I’m going to hold onto them until Dome 6 and really put them through their paces this fall/winter.

So I let impulses get the best of me again and ordered a pair of Casper’s in black Kobe shrink leather. I really don’t see anything online on this type of leather, is it similar to chromexel? Wondering how these will age, couldn’t decide between these or the brown horsehide
