It'e been a bit of a hectic 36 hours, but AJ and I are now at the airport heading to New York.

There's a big storm headed for the east coast

and our flights were all cancelled. We managed to rebook onto one this morning, but it has been a bit mental because of the USAs requirement for a negative test 24h prior to take off.

Sadly for AJ, the only taxi available to pick him up was at 0530, and our flight is at 1400 so he has got pretty well acquainted with the check in area of Terminal 5

Its -9C / 15F aka fucking miserable, but nothing an Iron Heart Mountain Parka cannot cope with..
Decent amount of snow overnight, and blizzardy winds made the walk to a diner this morning a bit of a challenge!

Going to stop by Standard & Strange later as it’s right by us and catch up with Andrew from Freenote Cloth whose in town at the moment too.

Now to get the collection ready for our first meeting at lunchtime..

So far so good on the trip. Have had some great meetings and meals.

We had pre-game brunch at Katz deli

Then watched one of the best postseason games of all time, sure I’m biased

I have been supporting the benglas for 15 years, actually. Picked them when I started getting into the NFL back when they had just drafted Dalton and Green, Jerome Simpson was doing front flips into the end zone and Chad Johnson was still Ochocinco

Good day yday, good meetings and then had a little down time in the eve with some great food. Best ramen I've ever had! (sadly not pictured). Managed to remain undefeated on the pool table also
