Long time, first time, but confused…. Help/Advice

Finally got around to getting measurements (i used BlueinGreen guide to measuring and might be off a slight bit here or there)

hip (accross bottom of crotch from outseam to outseam) 23

Not sure if I'm a candidate for the DC4001's or not. I am a fairly build guy (american football and such) , but the jeans I measured are fitting, but not too tight.

If you want a more fitted look in the thights, take a DC4001 in W33. I have similar measurements like you and for my feeling the 634SB W33 is much too lose in the upper thight. be advised, your current jeans have:  knee:9, hem: 8.75
the 34 634S will have:  knee:9.4, hem: ~9.1 (after hemming)

basically, a lot looser than your current jeans.

The difference in the diameter of the knee of those jeans would be 0.127". Not sure if that qualifies as a lot looser. That's an eighth of an inch in the diameter

I know I'm late to the game, but I would have to agree that the 634S would be the way to go. For the athletic types, a tapered fit makes you look like a carrot with big feet
