IH-634S-B - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Overdyed Indigo

After wearing tapered jeans for a long time, my 634S give the illusion of being flared.  I've found that this illusion is more pronounced if I wear a sleek shoe.  Chunky boots definitely improve the situation.

Spartacus, how do the jeans fit in the waist?  If they are loose or even fit comfortably you could size down one since the waist will stretch at least one size.  This will give you a slightly slimmer fit in the thighs and lower leg (which generally don't stretch that much).

i picked these up over july forth weekend. they're essentially replacing my 634S. i just need to get the super blacks and the SRs and i'll have completed my collection =]. sorry for the crappy phone camera pics, the color is obviously way off as they're completely black as opposed to the slightest bit blue.

im considering cuffing them, they're pretty long and the cuffs of my 634S got torn up a bit.

wear in good health . and yes, you could hem them - but a little bit of stacking and fraying has never hurt…

I wouldn´t hem them.

1. they hem itself for about 1 inch due to the creasing in the area of the knee
2. stacking gives a great look on a pair of overdyed jeans.

indeed lando. thanks for answering. i live in the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta. We have a very humid and warm weather down here, but wearing a pair of IH never hurts

My Size 31 634SB and Size 32 634S have arrived.

The SB is slightly slimmer in the thigh, but apart from that, the jeans wear basically the same. The SB waist is about 31.5 and the S waist is 32.

I just realized the patch is sewn on after the overdye    Not the first time this has happened with many pairs of jeans.

Would appreciate some thread info to find a suitable replacement.
