looks good, but back too washing machines. Whats that white sticking up from the bottom of the machine?

Never seen one of those. (we have had front loader for over a decade, so…)

^ It's the washer blade type thingies to rotate the clothes and where you pour the Fabric Softener in on top and after the rinse cycle, the Softener liquid releases through some spouts.

OK, all toploaders I've seen have had a drum like frontloaders do. The drum is just openable.
