Once again Ebay comes to my rescue/steals my money.

Checked out DC4 as well. Their only leather care product is 45€ which is a bit too rich for my pocket at the moment.

I always use Red Wing Boot oil and Mink oil. Much cheaper than obenaufs or the DC4 thing. 5-10€.

Washed my superblack shirt for the first time yesterday - with some trepidation. However, following Dr Pat's advise (no flakes, no spin - I used Bronners), it now looks great.

I thought I would never wash it but I can now recommend.

It is as stiff as ever - in your face son of Jorel.

I'm glad the washing was successful.  If anyone else is planning to machine wash the super black, I would also recommend turning it inside out to avoid any visible abrasions.  I haven't noticed any on either side of my shirt though.

FYI: I did not machine wash, it was a handwash in the bath with Bronners.

I might work in my IHSH-08 on December 24 and 31 (combined with IH-9634Z) just to make things interesting… In fact: coming to work on those days, is worse than attending your mum's funeral... The whole month of December is one huge massgrave actually... Horrible... Someone call Den Hague...

just bought my first pair of IH 461's. Any advice on how long I should wait to soak/wash them. I've heard many conflicting stories and ready many things. I figured I should ask the guys that wear them everyday. For what its worth, my 461's are a little tight and I wouldn't mind loosening them up a bit. Would a soak help or hinder that process or should I just wear the hell out of them?

so are they 461 or 461S ??  Both are sanforised though to my understanding…

They are 461, not selvage. i have worn them about a week. Most other jeans I have would have stretched by now but given that these are "tougher" I should be a little more patient I suppose.

So would a soak help or hurt the process?
