I recommend soaking them. They don't shirink at all, but become much less crisp.
Buster sbg cut is probably the best in IH production, but they are very crisp out of the box.
After a soak they definitively fit better.

nic - don´t soak - when they are a perfect fit to begin with use the starch for creasing..

Yep. Thanks george and beats for the advice. I really like how crispy and "rough" they feel right now. And I have no intention for a soak. Shall let the crispiness do its job.

Hello, just arrived today.
Unbelievable jeans, I'm just unsure whether I should have gone for the 38w.
They are super-comfy but I am acutely aware that skinnies are not an option for a man of my age.
