It's chaos here right now, lots of stuff to work out, thus I'm not much online. But, good thing is I got me a longboard : Didn't skate for nearly 10 years, but it is really fun and I could slap myself for not starting earlier. Yes.  I used to write the inside leg length on the order, take it to the cutting bench and then occasionally I would cut to that length, forgetting I had to add an inch on for the folded over hem.

Now Paula writes in very big letters, the cut length and in small letters the finished inseam length…....

Ah I see. You already have your system but what I do is chalk both finish length and cut length that way your never second guessing yourself just before you cut.

If there is no two lines then don't cut and always cut the longer length. = measured twice cut once
