Meet Bloke - the Sgt. at Arms of the San Jose Dons MC. He’s originally from the East Midlands. Nottingham to be more precise. I previously posted a snap of his bike in front of our clubhouse. Now here he is with it at a Bar-B-Que at my place in Sonoma.
To my eyes he has the look of a man who’d be handy in a bar fight. The kind of man who knows how to deliver a decent head butt. He’s a great friend of the Club and I’ve never seen him act anything but the proper gentleman. Still, he has that look
.PS: His actual name is Harold. A fine English name, if you ask me.

Over the weekend in San Francisco.
Damned stinkin’ Mods! Grrrrrrr… -
This past weekend I went up north island and rode more of the V.I. 1000. I camped in Side Bay, which isn’t on the route, but I couldn’t resist. Great mix of off-road riding conditions that pushed me out of my comfort zone a few times. Side Bay was definitely the highlight of the trip as it was remote and beautiful. Camped right on the beach and the new sleeping pad I bought was so comfortable. I still have more to complete on the route and should be able to knock out the rest over a couple of weekends. The last map is what I have ridden so far …

@Denman-John possibly misinterpreted statement. In UK English, “looks shit or shite” is actually a compliment that means wonderful, fantastic, etc.

@Bridger @Jord I knew I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right. Caffeine hadn’t kicked in yet and glad I didn’t post what I had originally wrote. What amuses me the most is how a 2 word comment and a 3 word reply could get the mods scurrying to put out a potential fire so quickly

Y’all. I signed up to take the Basic Riders Course next month. My partner isn’t impressed so I thought I’d share here. I’m just really excited to learn!

Scooped up a crusty n rusty sportster for next to nothing. Countless hours of chopping, fabricating, cleaning and painting later. It turned out to be a sweet little rig. Ever since finishing this project, my much more powerful and comfortable bike (FLSTSI heritage Springer) spends most of its time collecting dust while I rip around on the little choppy.
