The plastic airplane bottle really helps with the flavor profile.....

This one was delicious

[pechelman]

That time of year when blackberries are everywhere in the neighborhood

[harleylawhorn]

@pechelman damn that looks good. What you sippin on, vodka cran?

[pechelman]

@harleylawhorn Muddled the fresh neighborhood blackberries with lemon and added to a bit of maple syrup and rye.

@Denimhead-0 Happy to hear this. I just happened to pick this up on a pretty decent sale last weekend. Haven't cracked it open yet, but now I'm really looking forward to it.

after 12ish years got drawn to bottle @ Garrison Brothers. a few pics. nothing like XHS in tripple digit weather…. will also post some scores once i unpack them. yesterday would have been my dads birthday. RIP Hoot.

@Tago-Mago Do tell about this one

[Jett129]

@mikebarhoot Very cool,I did something similar at Makers Mark. I'm definitely curious about their bourbon, but have never tried it.

[Tago Mago]

@Denimhead-0 didn’t open the Foursquare yesterday. Will let you know when I have tried it

[mikebarhoot]

@Jett129 i really like their bourbons and hanging out at their ranch since i dont have one any longer… but…. IMHO their price points are way too high. example, the ‘Cowboy’ bourbon we bottled this week sells for $250 ea. thats above my pay grade for bourbon. i mean, thats .5 pr of XHSIB

[Tago Mago]

@tody what’s in the cup?

[tody]

@Tago-Mago Mezcalita. Not the first, won‘t be the last.

@Denimhead-0 tried it today, May have to give it another round with at least one of the Exceptional Cask Series I own. Cask strength definitely coming through more prominently here than in the other Foursquare I've tried, but not overpowering. Really spicy pepper on the tongue, rich, creamy, not overly dry. Long finish, that helps take the edge off the high ABV a little, if that makes sense? Just another really good bottle from Foursquare.

Edit: major bonus points for no added sugar or colour, as far as I am aware. True 15 years as well
