Kind of an explosion of music right then. College radio was awesome and you could see live acts for next to nothing.

Completely agree going from glam/hair metal to something that most of us had never heard before. Every magazine you picked up had a new band coming out of the PNW and most of it was really good. It is sad how many bands from that era are no longer with us due to overdoses though.
