Word, well let me know how the remote works out.. I am in need of a remote since I hate waiting 10 seconds for my timer to go off.
Just saw this tripod.. I think I will be saving up for it, and it IS expensive but hopefully it isn't a piece of shit:

Well, I took it as a RAW shot. I then in photoshop touched it up a bit, and set the exposure to +2,+1,0,-1,-2, then I save them as that (5 separate pictures). Then I went into photomatix pro converted it to B&W, then edited from there. The light around the truck is the halo effect, I am unsure what exact settings I had but yeah, it just is a halo around it (easy to create it).
Edit: Yeah, I want it cause of the head and it looks to be a pretty steady tri-pod. I don't mind spending that kind of money on it as long as it last a while and if it is steady. The problem with mine is if I take a long exposure shots lets say the tripod head shakes a bit and it pisses me the feck off.
