Wonder Looper
-
I almost bought a super looper burgundy hoodie on JS today... (I have the same colourway in the shorts)
I went back 15mins later to purchase and my size was sold out
I don't really want to order from Japan, I'll probably just save my budget for IH SS26 items... -
@Jord I checked one out on Friday when I went to pick up the ringer t. Nice hoody and definitely much less dense than the double heavyweight French Terry. I noticed two things. First is the medium I had on was much smaller and more fitted than my medium double heavyweight. Tried on a large which fit much better.
The second thing was it shed little burgundy bits all over my t-shirt. I’m going to end up getting the purple zip once it drops. I must! Because purple!!
-
@Chibs Nice! Your tee's look awesome! I think the purple is due to drop later in the season with production issues

My Standard & Strange house brand tee (which appears to be made in partnership with Wonder Looper) has become one of my favorite tees lately. They fit really well (western sizing - can't remember the last time I bought a Large =)), have a nice comfortable stretchiness (and airiness) to them, have a nice taut neckline, while being a great year-round weight (7.75oz). Nice colors too. Got it as a gift with no expectations and it gets worn pretty much every week and goes on most trips with me. The closest fabric comparison I have is the Warehouse 4601 tees - this is close but a bit stretchier and more comfortable.

Anyone have deluxeware 12.5 oz loop wheel tees to compare to the wonder looper heavyweight tees?
-
@Jbailla2 I don't own their shirts (yet) but I have a 20oz Deluxeware sweat and it's fantastic. Much cheaper to buy directly from them and the Wakayama true loopwheel fabric is beautiful. Great value brand and incredible sewing done by in house staff, so I wouldn't be surprised if their tees are comparable or even superior to Wonder Looper

This brand is legit.
I have a pair of their double heavy weight sweat pants (25.8oz) and double heavy weight hoody in Sumi black. Quality is right up there, heavy but it actually really breathes well. Somehow and I don’t know how but the 25.8oz sweat pants stay up on my hips without braces or a belt. Love the open none elasticated cuffs too -
I'm a big fan of the black fleeced fox fibre. Perfect for training.
-
I got my Super Looper before launch and made a quick YT short!

Quality combo!

These guys are definitely going from strength to strength. I’m still yet to get a super looper hoody, I already have the double heavy weight but still have the need for a lighter weight version. I saw a new YouTube post pop up about a cashmere version too, i might also check that out
I sometimes run their live streams in the background whilst doing house work.Looking as stylish as ever Chris

…. And I just saw the price of a cashmere hoodie. Whoa, I’m out.
-
I was tempted but then I thought … wait … I could buy like 4 UHF’s for the same price

-
@Rustygate37 according to the shop owner where I got my Super Looper, it’s completely luxurious, amazing feeling and worth it. He saw the original baby Kashmir in person. Wish I could find out for myself but.. @Brandrea thats 5 iH Flannels and an 11oz T-Shirt. 🫨
-
@Chibs I’m hearing you and I’m sure it is amazing stuff.
But….. I regularly question my sanity with pricing when buying an item from Iron heart and with around 30+ pieces already and another 5 more in my sights I’m clearly nuts.
But $2k for one hoody is right up bonkers, even for me -
And to be fair my IHSW-10-BLK is that damn good that im happy to wear the hell out of that.

I see @Rustygate37 you were not aware of the price. You don't just casually check out their full cashmere products, you need to be ready for a battle

That product will still extremely fast, it is basically in similar territory as NF 40oz jean, superlatives.
-
@Chibs Thanks for the video, I was thinking the towel question as well. You have those three hoodies, which one would you keep if only one?
-
@moskiitto I have no doubt that it will sell well. Not for me though thanks. Loving what they do and always appreciate when a brand pushes the boundaries.
Not aware of anyone’s 40oz jeans, sounds painful though. -
I’m sure it’s incredible stuff, and trust me, I’m the wrong person to comment on whether it’s worth it. I’ve paid more for some things that are probably half as nice
.In all seriousness, the one thing that gives me pause is the pilling. I’ve never owned anything in cashmere that didn’t exhibit this after a while. To my mind, a hoodie is a piece I just want to throw on and forget about. Obviously YMMV
