IHSH-439-PUR - 9oz Selvedge Flannel Check Western Shirt - Purple

@goosehd oh man... than k you. I will do it now. I am so in for this shirt. Another question. SOmetimes sizing in USA is slightly different than Germany and UK IH sizing. Like Selfedge shirts say I should be a Large but when I'm looking at the German site it says I'm XL. I'm 5'11" and 185 lbs (180.33 cm and 81.6 kg) Not sure if you have much experience around that size but if you do, what would you recommend? Thank you in advance

@gwarren333 The process is always the same with items released at IHUK. An announcement will be made when the shirt is due to be released. Either the same day or in the next few a chart will be released with all of the measurements of the item being released. We always recommend measuring one of your best fitting shirts to have a baseline to compare the chart with. By doing so, you will end up with the best fit for you.

My personal experience as I am very close to your size is that I typically wear XL in shirts (stressing that it really depends on the measurements posted). I have a few shirts in large that fit really well as well as quite a few in XL.

@goosehd yeah, you sound like me. Sometimes the Large fits PERFECT. but the XL is always safe bet although a bit large. Thank you for the help.

Once again, this is a sample and not representative of the final product. Yes, there may be some shirts as illustrated in the sample photograph.

@MGreen This is only one shirt out of an entire run. Each shirt may display differently depending on how it was sewn and where the pattern was cut from the fabric. No two shirts will be identical and the one shown could possibly be a one of one.

@MGreen As goose eluded to, all the images we have of these are the pre production samples so we won't know how they're going to look 'till we receive the production run

@JerkStore That sample picture is taken in house by IHUK staff. IHUK does not have the run in hand to take new pictures.

I wouldn’t be fussed if the shirt they shipped me had that pattern … but to each their own. If it stops some from ordering then there’s more available for those who want them. JMO.

It will be what it will be. We will not waste the Japan teams time asking questions that make no difference whatever the answer is, it will not change what they are They have enough to do without, distractions such as this. If you do not like the western because it is not how you like it, don't buy it.
We have noted some concerns about the make-up of these shirts. If when we receive them we feel that the pattern matching could have been done in a better way, we will mention it to H when we are with him in Japan next week. If we don't think it is an issue, we will not bring it up.
