IH-634S-18 - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

I have found my 14oz in 634 (loose fit) to be pretty comparable to my 21oz in 777 (tight fit) for heat tolerance.

Would love to hear more comparisons of the 17n and 18oz, especially in breathability. Seems like the 17N doesn't get a whole lot of love compared to the other jeans. I haven't seen them in person, but they remind me of the 14oz but slow to fade and better for summer. While the 18oz seems pretty unique with its texture.

I forget which 17n cut thread has it, bit there was a good comparison between it and a few other denims. It might have been in the 777 thread but I honestly can't remember. Maybe one of the mods or crew knows where it is?

@northsouthdenimguy “oh my god the 18 oz is soo much better”. But seriously do breathe better than slub or 14ozib’s so far last summer for me. I was hoping to keep wearing the XHS into may but it’s already 80 today from 40 last week

@pechelman do you mean a side by side of the denims? Or a run down of the differences? I had a look through the threads but nothing jumped out

I think it was a description from a few folks. Maybe neph had a few posts. Regardless, I don't need it, this was in reply to wjw if he wanted to go find it. I know it's out there because at one point I was considering 17N vs 18 and stumbled on it.

@pechelman thanks for helping point me in the right direction. Both 17n and 18v on list for one day. Seems like the 18v may be more suited for the heat with more breathability from what I gathered reading through various threads.
