@Denimhead-0 Great fit! And nice measurements. Thanks for posting these, can give people a good idea of what to expect (me included)
-
@Jord Thanks

-
@Denimhead-0 can i ask what you deem to be 'hot' soak? Is that 40 degrees? Thanks for the measurements! I get my pair today, so i cant wait
looks awesome!And did you get a tag 33? I feel my tag 33s are hitting the 33.9 or 34inch mark to start...

I figured I can post my measurements as well. This is what I got after soak in bathtub for one hour (start temp 38C) and 50 min wash at 40C gentle, no spin and drip dry.
Diff after soak and wash:
Waist: -1 cm (88 -> 86)
Front Rise: -1 cm
Rear Rise: -0,5 cm
Thigh: -0,5 cm (68 -> 67)
Knee: -0,7 cm (48 -> 46,6)
Hem: -0,5 cm (43 -> 42)
Inseam: -3,5 cmMinus signs are measured according to IH method, within parentheses are the actual measurements from RAW to post soak and wash.

I'll be getting my pairs of 888s and 634s today, and soak them MAYBE this weekend.
I'll post my measurements as well.
For those who have posted before/after pics, they all look great, and I'm more excited to get mine!
-
@Denimhead-0 : congrats man, the fit looks fantastic! Enjoy them!
I was a bit surprised to see you only lost 0.5 of an inch on the inseam post wash.
-
@cyclops Not sure exact temp, pretty hot to the hand Hot. Tag Size 33, asked for 34” and IH crew came through as usual with exactly 34.

As soon as this denim shrinks the most among all others IH denims I think it's the right thread to ask this question concerning all IH denims in general including this one - who of you ever personally experienced so called "fade shift" wearig your jeans "dry" way i.e. without preliminary soak/wash for a conciderable period of time? Was that "fade shift" really pronounced and therefore noticable?
-
I managed to get a pair of these from Iron Shop Provisions in size 36 before it was sold out everywhere. I didn't need more jeans, but my regular size 34s are too restrictive due to some weight gain, so I figured I'd buy a more comfortable pair while I work to slim back down.
Comparison shots below. The old ones are IH-888-NT repaired by Indigo Proof. I believe it was the same exact denim just with tonal arcuates (it's also a 21/23oz raw in any case).

Hey guys! Can i please get some advice? I did a hot soak (40 degrees plus) and cold wash no spin. The waist is good and comfortable, but i still have a bit of excess material in the crotch area and a few areas. (Apologies for the crotch shots)
Should i look to maybe do another wash maybe at 30 or 40 degrees? I realised i just selected the cold water setting on my washing machine instead of 30 or 40
and measuring the before and after specs i dont feel like enough shrink happened, just maybe the waist? So im a bit confused....anyhow any advice would be appreciated!

is size 33 or 34 available anywhere?
-
@Luke_is_back Please look at the retailers located here
-
@Denimhead-0 awesome, from the fit pics looks the 33 was great choice

Day 2

-
@cyclops if you did a cold wash the first time, I bet you will get some more shrink with a warm wash

Here we go!!

@cyclops if it was me I would totally do a 40C wash before wearing extensively. Just to make sure you do all you can to remove as much as possible of that excess. That’s what I did and I was happy with the results.
