New leather drop. Really digging this Sandstone Mohave roughout.

-
Had to do it. I think this color is going to age nicely. It’s a good grayish brown, very light on the inside.

-
@WhiskeySandwich Nice! Love the Sandstone.

First new pair of Red Wings in a bit and inspired by you guys here in the thread. Briar Oil Slick Loggers. Took my Iron Ranger size and they’re roomy but great with some thick socks. Don’t think they’ll take much break-in either which is nice. I’ll try to get some more pics later. Anyway, really like them and remind me of my very first pair of Red Wings years ago which were some moc toes in this same leather.

@SKT I have the same, they are my favorite boots alongside the Moc toe Roughneck 2949 Black Oil Slick.
It's more comfortable than the White's, I only wear these two!

Sandstone Mohave after a few weeks

Today I wore my new Iron Rangers 8111 boots for the first time. For a person in Russia right now, this is a great joy!

-
@Walery-Smirnoff classic boot…enjoy!!
-
@Walery-Smirnoff are they everything you hoped for? How did the sizing work for you?
-
I decided I didn’t want to wait for the shiny brass eyelets to age so I swapped them for aged brass eyelets. Way better. Now they truly are a low top 8849.

Hi friend! The 875 in size 11.5 was a little loose for me. My foot is exactly 29 cm long. The 8111 in size 11.5, on the other hand, had no extra room inside. The 875 shrank a bit when wet and became very comfortable. I still have to break in the 8111. They are more rigid. But both are very comfortable to wear. The leather is thick and high-quality.

My 875 Moc toes

I previously owned a pair of 8882 Indigo Mocs that were a half size too small and it still gutted me to sell them. After 2 years of searching, found these lightly used in my size.

@Denimhead-0 nice!
