I did the Porsche driving experience here in Atlanta in 2015 for my birthday present with a “lowly” Carrera S but it was still a blast.
Some of the mint cars were just incredible…

Fantastic! They made great cars back then. I had a 991.1 GTS that time. Amazing car, still can't believe I sold it. None of what came afterwards was as good.

@Chap ...you didn't happen to notice that as she kept encouraging you to go faster that the brakes were fading quite quickly?

Edit: What an awesome present!!
Brakes? What are brakes?

The rounds with the instructors were pretty close to vomiting, I had a severe dizziness afterwards. They brake just milliseconds before the curve and are immediately back on full power. It is amazing what youn can do with those cars if you know how to do it.

...she even said sure, go ahead….
Funny thing, I immediately picked up on the inflection, and facetiousness in her voice...
I'm glad I'm no longer married...

I have been fortunate enough to have driven with some very accomplished and skilled drivers and it’s the braking that stands out , very firm but very smooth with seamless transitions

apparently Toyota has trademarked a name for a Tundra trim level to compete with the Raptor. The "TRD Hammer". This has got to be the worst name ever, here's why:

-
It's not their first shitty name - MR2 in France = MR deux = merde.
