On an honest note I'd like this "discussion" to be closed now…think since it's all about the jeans "it's not about me,it's about the jeans!" Is this a 21oz black denim specifically created for SE and wherein lies the difference with SBG denim? Thanks.

Currently only SE utilises this denim.

This denim, white weft black warp, SBG, black/black

SBG reactive dyed (black)
7301 regular white/beige (same as 21oz denim)
warp on both sulphur dyed
exclusive, I don't know
but the 7301 is the only place you'll find that denim

*define skinny injun?  those 461 are pretty slim up top & then have a slight flare.  i think that is much more of a  delicate feminine look than jeans that are slim through out

MOnday my definition to "skinny" is emo like skinny, thight all the way down. Nothing wrong with tight jeans if they are straight or boot cut.

then again, this comes from an old teddy/rockabilly/ rocker/biker who's closer to 50 than 40…

i am slightly confused is this selvage or not? it seems to be only on fly and coin construction but
not the side of the leg which is a bit bazaar to me

None of the 301 derivatives have selvedge side seam…....

It's selvage I'd say,since there is on coinpocket and buttonfly…

Why bizzar? Imo it's just a nice detail and it doesn't make anything to the denim...still the same 21oz denim as there is with the selvage!

Of course they're selvage, as they're made of selvage denim. If it gets chopped off, it still remains selvage. If a blonde shaves her head, she still remains a blonde, no?

I was just confused as I see no good reason for cutting away the selvedge if there was one but I just read the other thread so know the reason now.

Finn it's not just decretive it does make a difference but that's for the denim thread.
