At 20 ounces you would think so but the weave is just much denser. It’s not woven like a sweatshirt that’s meant to trap warm air, etc. So not warm like a sweatshirt.

The winter was long, harsh, and exhausting, but my field and I have thawed and are back in business!
And because I wore my Pale Rider shirt for the last two autumns, one spring, and one winter, this archaic western shirt had to wait a year and a half to two years for its first use.
What do I know about it so far? - Not much. It was commissioned by Levi’s Vintage Clothing (LVC) and meticulously crafted years ago by Aero Leather, exactly as Levi’s likely offered it in the late 19th century. Apparently, not many were made. If anyone has any further information about this piece, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a message; I would be very grateful
