IH-301S

I bought a pair of Iron Heart 301s from Self Edge and received them yesterday. I thought they were slim fit because Self Edge describes them that way, but after trying them on I think they are really a skinny fit on me. How much will these things loosen up in the thighs and seat? I want them to look like they do on the model on the Self Edge site:http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=71&products_id=408 . I can't pull off the emo skinny jeans look even though I am tall. Since wearing them since yesterday I have noticed them loosening in the calves and waist, but this is 21 oz denim, so I'm doubting they'll loosen up as much as normal selvage.

Its gonna take about 3-4 months, and the jeans will strech approx. an extra inch circumference in thighs (say half a size, less so in less snug fitting areas). Gonna shrink some when you wash em, but soon streches back out.

The top block is rather big on the 301-S, so if you feel like sizing up might be to big in the waist, buy a pair of 666s. If I understood it right these are slim fitting as well, but less carrot shaped.

They are loose in the top block stingray, mine were snug when I bought them and about a week later
they stretched so much they were loose in the legs and I needed to wear a belt. Give them time as
Captain said, they'll stretch a lot.

Critique at will.  Again, the real problem I have is they are so tight in the thighs and seat.  They are are size 32.  For comparisons sake, I wear a 32 in APC New Standards and a 32 in N&F Slimguys.  Here you go …

Is sizing up to a 33 sufficient?

Are they hard to zip and button? How tight are they across your hip area?

They are in the mail for a store credit.

If I dare say so - these are to small. A size 33 would flow way better

Yeah, size up. Coming from the one with the snuggest jeans on this forum.

If the waist was tight you might size up to a 34 to rid yourself of the emo look you dont want.

If you can walk a stair two steps at a time without feeling constricted, size one up, Otherwise, go +2 sizes-

For me 301's are too baggy in the top box and too tight from knee to cuff. They fit relaxed in the thigh but ultra skinny in the calf. I can't size down and can't size up.
301's cut resembles slightly that of Dior Homme 19cm Brut, but 21 oz denim make them more difficult to wear.

One big hello from Munich!

I'm real close to get my first proper pair of Denims  and I'm looking for some slim Jeans that will eventually get some nice fading over time. I went through most IH-666s and IH-301s threads/pictures (here& on SF) and totally dig both of them.

Now the problem is they're both not available around here in Munich so I cant try them on. There is one shop in Berlin, DC4 which cariries the 666s but not the 301s..

Please guys, help me out. Which one should I get and where can i get the 301s. They're not on IH Online Shop!?

IH-301S are a Self Edge exclusive and are only sold at Self Edge.

What about the IH-xB01? Are they similar to the 301s?

The closest are the 666, but the 666 and the IHXB01 have a more fitted top block and are not so tapered as the 301.  G
