Made me a little sad. I know we rag on the place here, but I never find it anything other than charming, in a rundown, definitively English sort of way. Outside of IH, everyone I’ve ever met in Gosport has been smiling and friendly. Even in The Fox!

I was chatting to a mate about it earlier, in fact the mate who send me the article. We agreed that Gosport is a honest little town, the concept of keeping up with the Jones is an unknown concept it has no pretensions and just about everyone is friendly. I'll take this over aspirational Ponceyvilles every day of the week.....

I'm a boy, so gentically I will big mechanical things. Diggers, dumpers, planes and ships, even (well especially) warships... So I am delighted that the new Inspiration Class of frigates will be based here (well, Portsmouth, but we'll get a better view of them from Gosport).....
