Also worth pointing out it was @SKT ’s pics that pushed me over the edge for both of these boots and we now have the same 2 pair’s of White’s 😅

@hjl360 sweet! Kinda want to get my c355 resolved as wedges. I’m on polished concrete like 90% of the time, and I fantasize about them being much comfier

@mmerkle my first pair of boots with wedge soles so I can only tell you what they are like brand new and that is like walking with cushions under my feet, just absorb every step

@mmerkle So worth it, the wedge is a great break from the lugs, especially on concrete all day!

@mmerkle I have some Red Wing Beckmans that I had resoled with a wedge, and it's made them MUCH more comfortable in terms of standing for long portions of the day. They certainly don't look as nice/formal as they did with the stock soles, but the comfort gained has been well worth it.20260115_115437.jpg

Thanks for the encouragement! I’m bracing for the estimate as they’ll probably have to add to the midsole to give them something to stitch to around the heel…

I decided to just go with replacement heels for the moment. Whites was going to be too expensive (mostly cause they wind up to take on more than I actually want done at the moment) IMO. Also, wanted to check out a new cobbler. Given the results, I’m happy to bring them all my shoes in the future! When this wears out I’ll maybe try a wedge ;).
