I’ve just discovered a 1950’s Leica 3F in my in-laws’ basement and now consider picking up the hobby of analog fotography - which I know nothing about 😅.

@pechelman Thanks for sharing these great shots from Japan. Where abouts did you go while there?

@Denman-John we started in arimaonsen, went through Kobe to Osaka for a quick couple nights of fun and a visit to y2, then spent the next 10 days meandering through the central kii peninsula. Tenkawa, Totsukawa, Watarase, hongu, Shingu, Nachi, etc before making our way to Ise. Of course we visited all the big shrines and hiked a few well preserved sections of the kumano kodo. When we left the peninsula we spent a night over in Nagoya before ending in shimokitazawa for two nights.

The handful of pictures above made it look like we only went to like 3 places in realizing now.

Amazing stuff on this thread. Found a nice winter shot from around my house I took some years back before I sold by Canon 7D Mark ii and all lenses (had not used the equipment for some years). This was mid 2024, and as a replacement for all the heavy Canon stuff I bought a Fuji 100VI. Could not get used to the limitations of the fixed lens, and sold again almost immediately again. Now consider getting a simple Sony full frame setup with the Sony A7CII and one walk around zoom lens as a light travel shooter...
