@jdwaid keep it! I personally would have just worn it the way it was but looks like new to me now.

Does anyone have experience with getting a piece adjusted? I love my AA curb chain, but I’ve always felt it’s one or maybe two links too long. Maybe I could find a local jeweler who can do the job?

@Mizmazzle Thanks Miz!!

Yo dawg. I had my size b box & tounge resized as it was too big. I went to a local jeweler and they did it for me. It didn't look great at first, but as it has aged a bit, the area where the link was joined has smoothed out a bit. So just be aware that the job from a local person may not be as nice as GAH could do. But I paid $60 and GAH quoted me with $300 something which is bananas.

@Oaktavia Awesome! My curb chain is a bit smaller, so it would show repair even less. That’s good to know!! Thank you

Any competent jeweler should be able to size a bracelet. $300 for a link removal is absurd!
-
@Danimal506 yep I meant to say that in my post, it'll be easier to repair something smaller.
-
I recently inquired about having some links removed and was quoted $350.
-
In the new world order, that’s likely the cost to shorten a ball chain…
