Picked this corduroy CPO up because I had some SE credit burning a hole in my pocket. Worried about the fit. It’s super comfortable but worried it looks too boxy. I can attest that the materials are top notch and it’s warm. What do you guys think?

@SKT I think it looks great on you. It looks comfortable. If it was more fitted, it probably wouldn't be as comfortable. Recently, I've had to get rid of a few pieces that fit really well aesthetically but weren't as functional/comfortable. I guess it just depends on where you are in your clothing journey. It also seems to be true that if you wear anything with confidence and just don't give a shit what other people think, somehow it manages to look cooler. Not sure why that works, but it seems to. Lol

@SKT I’ll throw a wrench in the thought process. I think it looks too wide in the torso and shoulder and long in the body. How do the measurements of this CPO compare to another comparable CPO or light jacket you might have to cross reference? Do the SE measurements for the size down seem like they might remedy any sizing doubts?

@Mizmazzle that’s kind of how I feel about it but the size down is sold out AND I think the sleeves would have been too short. The puffiness is nice and comfortable (and warm) but adds to the “oversized” look. Still debating and always appreciate the feedback from everyone.

@SKT well it certainly doesn’t look sloppy. Just slightly oversized. So if you plan to wear it as a relaxed, top layer…then you’ve got yourself a killer piece.

@SKT Perfect fit to my eye, especially for that cut. It should be a bit boxy IMHO, but on you it’s not overly so.

EDIT: how accurate did you find their measurements to be? The 44 has a 52” chest? That can’t be right ..

@Brandrea I’ll try to measure mine today but it’s definitely oversized. I normally wear a large UHF and you can see how a 40 fits me.

@Brandrea measurements seem to be pretty accurate. Mine has a p2p of slightly over 24”

@SKT Really cool jacket, and unique design. I think it looks great, and you could always dial in the fit if you want with hot wash, and if you need a bit more a hot dry. Great choice!
