while i do not have any experience with this specific jacket, i looked up the previous pre/post soak measurements in this thread.
even if you lose 1" in sleeve length, that would still be too long for my taste.

Yeah may be little long in the sleeves, post soak/ wash. If have option to return for size down may be good call if looking for just a hoodie or tee shirt underneath. but I think @worn2fade had his little bigger than planned. But went with a double soak and maybe a wash on his to get it fitting really nice.

@tody @meatmarketdenim1 thanks guys, I think there's a good chance that I won't be happy with the fit long term so maybe better to size down next run

@FlavourFade I just DM’d you on IG some pics for you to see how mine started. I also have a few reels going into details on my gram too.

Personally brother, if you’re not layering a thick hoodie and/or UHF under this I would definitely size down. I bought mine a size up from my normal IH size because I wanted to layer a IHSH-33-IND under it ironically enough, there was still a great amount of space even with a T shirt and the western on.

I definitely should’ve went true to size. Especially because this run of lefties came out a little longer in the torso which I’m not the fondest of.

Mine fit basically the same as yours in its raw state and after a soak and two washes I can fit my IHSH-33-IND & my 18oz OD CPO under it and still be comfortable. So like I said, unless you want heavy layering.. size down my friend!

I usually take L in IH tops. I went for a M from the latest lefty batch and there’s still plenty room for layering with a shirt or hoodie, should I want to. It works great with just a T-shirt too.

                    Thanks a lot everyone @worn2fade @meatmarketdenim1 @V-P

I am still not sure if this one is for me or not. Looking at the measurements of the 2XL I am sure with some shrinkage that it's going to be too small in the chest and waist area. The sleeves of the 3XL are def too long but I do like the fit of @worn2fade 's jacket tbh. This is really a hard decision

@FlavourFade for reference I like my IH top’s at 23” pit to pit. This jacket sits at 23.5” pit to pit and it has lots of space. I’m not sure the science behind it but I don’t think the pit to pit of a shirt and jacket are supposed to be the same. When I tell you I have a LOT of space, I’m not exaggerating one bit. I thought I would need a slightly bigger chest measurement to accommodate my minor layering but the math ain’t mathing lol.

@worn2fade you are probably right! While I think that the fit would not totally be off, I have my 142 and the mountain parka for heavier layering with lots of space and think a more fitted T3 would be the better option. Thanks @ all 💙

@V-P thanks! Fit is similar to the one I have here but without the comically long sleeves. That's what concerned me the most, so it's already packed Up and will go back to hamburg tomorrow. On your pictures I can see you lost a bit in sleeve length but if I translate that to the XXXL it's still going to be a bit long.

@FlavourFade It almost doesn't shrink at all. Trust me. Get the jacket measurements that are closest to your normal ones in a pre-shrunk. I've done it with this jacket twice. The first time I ordered it I took measurements bigger than I should have. I also soaked and washed that one at 40c and there was very minimal shrinkage, 1 inch still in the body and sleeves, minimal in chest and shoulders. The second time I took measurements that were all within .1-.2 inches of what I where in a pre-shrunk model and it was perfect. Like I said it will shrink 1 inch in the body and sleeves, very, very minimal shrinkage everywhere else. That's if you soak and wash it at 30c or less. Don't take the advice that you need to boil the jacket in the hottest water possible with the hope it will shrink to the fit you want. Stick to your measurements, wash 30c or less and you'll be golden.
