IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
Only thing I've noticed is dye under my fingernails....
-
Currently on a trip in Minnesota and made a stop at Black Blue! Phenomenal shop. Picked up this IHSH-293-OD for the Redline Rally. Super stoked on it. I tried on two different XL’s and a 2XL. One XL had a slightly bigger shoulder measurement than the other and that’s the one that worked phenomenally for me. In this picture I have a IHSH-33-IND layered under it but the fit was awesome with and without it!

@Sam-OG If you’re as lucky as me, and the measurements work out right, the shirt is an absolute joy to wear.
I’m VERY late to the party, but this one is my favorite pieces of Iron Heart. I’m eagerly awaiting the restock of the OD 634/666’s

I couldn’t restrain myself and ordered a Large. After the 526-Lod and a 634 slubby OD this will be my third OD iron heart item. But it’s a first for the 18 oz vintage denim. Looking forward to receiving this!

Hey everyone, finally got the shirt!
This is in L, which is my usual size.
I'm very unsure about the fit because it's very tight under the arms.
The fit overall length is perfect.
It also fits very well on the waist.
The question is, will it stretch...?
How much stretch can be expected?
I'm afraid XL might be too long and too wide at the waist...
What do you think? -
@Sam-OG it doesn't stretch, but it does relax a good bit as @Richard said a long time ago. I was in the same boat this time last year but held out and it is now my favorite shirt. If you size up at all it may look a little sloppy in all other areas.
Iron heart tops in general run slimmer compared to other brands due to their rider first focus. It's just something to get used to.
-
@Sam-OG Looks great. It won't stretch under the arms, but it will give. It softens considerably, and where there is pressure, very much so. It drapes like very heavy linen. Lol. Only thing to consider is if you want to layer under it. I can do both.
-
I’m in agreement. I recently went to BlackBlue and tried on the XL (my normal size,) and a 2XL. 2XL made the arms insanely huge. I’m sure your size L will work just give it some time + wear.
-
First of, thank you all so much for your support!
Im completely agree with you.
It becomes softer over time and therefore more comfortable to wear.
I generally only wear a tee or a tank top under my shirt. So underlaying isn't important to me.
I'm already very taken with the shirt and would like to wear it 24/7.
I'll keep you updated... -
@Sam-OG That’s so great to hear! I’m loving mine as well.
For a warmer layer underneath, you could try a 1501 if you have one. They are similar to the 1600 heavy weight IH tees but with long sleeves. That’s my favourite piece to layer with mine.
I guess I got the goldilocks fit with mine and can layer with it. It’s just an incredible shirt!
