Thrift Store Scores
-
@derek111 right?!
-
@GraemeE pretty epic score! They both fit me pretty good too… never owned a pair of Sugar cane
-
Just next door at Self edge…

-
@sabergirl right!? I figured it was the best score I’ll ever find, so I had to nab them both..
-
In Arizona for my son’s soccer tournament, so I checked out a local thrift shop and picked up some scores

-
@Inorganic I'd recognize those price tags anywhere
We only have one VV left in Oregon and it happens to be 1/4 mile from my house
-
@GraemeE you fiend!!! That’s hilarious - and how lucky you are to have one so close !!
-
I hit up the monthly vintage flea market here in North Portland and grabbed some pants for me and wifey. These fatigues have an October 30th1952 manufacture date.

-
Great score! even better if its the right size, but you might get a good buck for vintage MIL stuff (A quick google search on the M-1951 pants reveal around 80$)
-
@Inorganic excellent score
-
@scarfmace oh good to know! Luckily they fit and I’ll wear them - they were $10 and I just couldn’t pass them up. The sellers (2 old fellas selling only military items) had a bunch of leather pilot jackets from Vietnam/Korean war - beautiful leather, a little beat up in the cuffs - but well priced at $45.
-
@GraemeE thanks my guy. You should check it out some time. This particular market is located at the armory near PDX, runs 1/month and has higher quality/antique items vs the Sunday one in St Johns (although that one is currently 1/month until March).

@Inorganic I've been looking for a vintage B3 for ages, I found one in a thrift store in Amsterdam a couple years ago for 100€ but it wasn't my size.
