IHSB-EXT-NAT - Iron Heart x Simmons Bilt Natural Horsehide Type III Jacket
A collaboration between Iron Heart and Simmons Bilt, the "Extractor" is based on our modified Type III pattern — slightly longer in the body than the original Levi's design, with the addition of handwarmer pockets. Handmade in Scotland, this jacket is constructed from 1.3mm Italian vegetable-tanned horsehide, resulting in a heavyweight piece that will develop a rich patina with age. Other features include a 100% cotton lining from Halley Stevensons in Dundee, while heavy-duty nickel tack buttons provide reliable fastenings throughout.

The "Extractor" - Natural Horsehide Type III
A customer suggested this idea to me.
Whilst I was very pleased with the idea, I was really pissed off that I had not thought of it

Made with thinner horsehide that the bareback, this is a thing of utmost beauty.
So people, nickel or brass tack buttons?
My Lawd is that a thing of beauty…and nickel could be interesting.

Nickel

Can both metals fade and age like the jacket? If so, I think I'd say nickle.

Then I'd switch to brass, actually. With this jacket, you almost have to think about the end color rather than the beginning color.
