@RitchieCDog totally understand what you’re feeling man. You’re thinking:
“I paid a ton of money for this jacket!”
“This seems like I’m not getting a perfect starting point for my fade journey.”You’re totally justified in those feelings. I will say, those collar abrasions will be some of the first areas of high wear you’re going to get and they will melt away into all the other rad progress you earn with this jacket. You’ll be getting sick fades all over before you know it, and those spots on the collar will be forever forgotten even faster.
The patch is also a fair concern, but again, one that almost certainly isn’t going to devolve into anything other than your jacket being unique and yours. Worst case scenario…the boys in Gos will make quick work of making sure that patch never moves a millimeter.
Again, you paid a bunch and need to be stoked. But I’d be willing to bet if you stick with the jacket, you’re gonna be super psyched on it after a day or two wearing that beauty.

@meatmarketdenim1 thanks man - I haven’t kept count but it gets worn mostly in spring/autumn - or less cold winter days. To be honest, I wouldn’t say I’ve worn it particularly hard in the last couple of years, so I’m surprised how evolved it’s looking! The wash definitely brought out more silver tones

My lefty OD, approx 140 wears(didn’t keep best track when first got it). After its First wash, I Just did a bathtub wash. My washer machine is old and worried would get marbled/or soap still left on it. Stoked put lots of more miles on this bad boy, my fav IH jacket. . Purchased from @Kasi thanks again man, jacket is well loved here in SF

It doesn't look like it but I wear this alot! Had some time and good lighting so I used it. Nearing 8 months of wear off and on.

Hoping the Iron Heart crew can chime in here: are there any plans to restock this model any time soon? The one I have is great, however I've lost weight and need to size down. Everywhere I've checked is sold out in the size I would need, either an XL or 2XL. Any info is appreciated!!

@AdamJ Thanks for letting me know about the 526J-142ib; I may jump on one of those, but I admittedly had my heart set on a smaller 526LOD as it seems like it will survive the apocalypse. I can "make" mine work, but it looks a bit strange on me, especially in the shoulders and sleeves.
Any estimate as to when the 526J-142ib model restock will be arriving?
