IHW-03 - Melton Wool CPO Jacket

The size small IHW-02 (assuming same measurements) has the measurements of a shirt that fits slightly relaxed on me.  Should I size up to a medium for the coat or stay small?

Well.  I normally wear L in IH shirts.  I CAN wear an L in the IHW-02, but only over a Tee.  I size up to XL to wear over more than just a Tee.  So I think the short answer is, size up to a medium…...

Damn.  Again with the no XXL.  I need to either a) get shorter or b) get really skinny.

Seriously, I can get him to do larger sizes in the future.  The trouble with the IHW-03 is that when I saw him in May, he only showed me the red/black one that looked like IHW-02.  Given that I had a few IHW-02 left in stock, I told him I would not take any IHW-03.  On that basis, he decided only to do S-XL, as there is virtually no call for XXL and XXXL in Japan.

Then out of nowhere he hits me with the blacked out version.  His assumption was that as I was not taking any red/black I would not want the black one either, so that's only getting made in S-XL…..

Makes perfect sense.  Still a kick ass item to miss out on, though.  IHW-01 in black it is then.

I had the good fortune to try one of these on the other day, and it is a fantastic jacket. Very well made (as you would expect), and really comfortable, the cut is superb also.
