How much food do your kids waste annually using IH as currency? I’ll say an N1 and a couple of UHF’s.

…how about clothes that you buy for them (birthday’s, Christmas’s, etc.) that doesn’t fit by the time you give it to them. We bought a pair of winter boots on sale a few months in advance and gave them to the oldest for Christmas one year. They were too small as she outgrew them in that time from purchase to gifting. So we went out to buy a new pair at full price (it’s winter and nothing was on sale) and she loved the boots…

We have 3 boys. I'm not ashamed to say I hide cereal, beef jerky ect from the hordes. Last week the youngest found the Cinnamon Toast Crunch while looking for trash bag liners. Busted.... Full disclosure they had Cocoa Puffs and Honey Nut Cheerios.... Jerky is in the garage so it's safe .....

At dinner we give them the amount we think they will eat. The dinner table usually resembles Oliver Twist.

The one thing that really drives me nuts is when my son goes back for seconds (good) then doesn’t eat it (bad)

You know what drives me crazy—and not just because they’re my stepkids but two of the three(SK’s) order double meat at hibachi or wherever we go, never finish it, take it home, and then I’m the one throwing it out in a few days.

On a much happier note, my two girls (12 and 17) are here for a week from Florida, where they live with their mom. I’m so incredibly happy

Wife will hand me a plate to take to table, I say who is this for, she answers "pickiest kid" and then I go with and laugh.
