IHSH-436-RED - Ultra Heavy Flannel American Check Western Shirt - Red "The Watermelon Man"

@AdamJ Apologies if this is an inappropriate question (and fully understood if it shouldn't be answered), but can you say approximately how many of the watermelon shirts were made? With how quickly these seemed to disappear from all vendors, I'm really curious how many pink flannel weirdos are out there.

Plenty pink flannel fans it would seem! We try to gauge demand the best we can. Great to see all colourways being really well received this season.

@Abracadaver Real men wear
redpink! -
@Jord this point has come up before (and our most northerly mod - except for all the others who are further north - has shown us the way)!

@ARNC love it!
I wouldn't even call this flannel pink though, although it is not quite red either... It changes in the light, but yeah wear what you love and love what you wear!

Ohhhh… can we all guess? I’m gonna say 500 to 700 range. Closest gets the next watermelon that doesn’t fit Cosmo….
-
Yeah, just joking around. I would not expect any small private business to divulge numbers, I certainly wouldn’t for mine. -
Whatever the number may be, we know there are still more pink flannel weirdos out there haha
-
Got mine at Guevel today, they still have some sizes btw

Picked mine up from The Shop today, what a beauty of a shirt! Good fit as well despite my hesitations around shoulder width

I find it difficult to buy a larger size and just hope it will fit better after washing. I took a chance with a size L, mainly worried about the chest (108cm), but it actually fits perfectly. Such a nice shirt!
Any shrinkage in the chest area would probably be a problem, though. Is washing at 30°C with a 400 spin safe enough, or should I play it more safe?

-
IMHO that chest can’t take any shrinkage, cold soap and hang dry. Fit looks spot on, really nice.
-
@SashaDBZ Do you usually buy a large in UHF or an XL. I usually buy a 3X! but I took a chance with a 2X and requested shoulders closer to 20! Hopefully I made the right call and we’ll know later today! Looks good on you.

Just got mine and it is gorgeous. UPS completely destroyed the shipping box and it was wrapped in massive amounts of tape so I was initially worried. Fortunately, the shirt appears untouched and has no damage.
This shirt is definitely not pink. Faded red or dark salmon is how I would characterize it. This rivals the anniversary and the turquoise as my favorite flannel. If you are still thinking about grabbing one of these, do it. As far as US stockists, Dant and BlackBlue haven't released theirs yet if you can't currently find your size.
