IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black

First day out in the wild. Fits perfect

Got my hands on my XL. Thanks to the IH team for sorting one with good measurements for me. Even with similar or even slightly larger measurements than my 292, this one feels slimmer. Don’t have much room for layering other than a t shirt or thinner henley, but in this run that’s probably the way to go rather than trying XXL which would probably be too large in the shoulder and sleeve. What a great shirt. Can’t wait to put some wear into this.

@americanathreads Fit looks spot on! Can’t wait for mine to arrive!
-
@Brandrea thanks man! You’ll love it - hopefully the fit works for you.

You are going to love it, brother! I have owned the Large for a couple of years, and I was able to snag an XL this year so it can serve double duty as a light shirt jacket. Both fit really great...it is my favorite IH piece (and that is really saying something)!
-
@SaddleSC That’s fantastic to hear!
I’m a touch nervous about the size I chose, but going by the measurements it should work out alright. I went with my regular UHF size which is XXL. The XXXL looked way too large in the shoulders.

Wow.
This thing is so good and so different than my 178. I’m pretty sure I know what I’m wearing tomorrow….

Might be my favourite combo with the ducks.

@goosehd me too, I need ducks now lol

Got my CPO in XL yesterday and absolutely love this fabric.
Nonetheless I'm on the fence regarding sizing: as you guys can see on my pics, length of body and sleeves seems perfect for me. But it feels a bit tight in the chest area as well in the sleeves, so definitely no stuff for layering. Since I have planned to use it more for transitional season, that might work out so far.
So I consider to size up to XXL, but there I know the sleeves would be too long.
What would be your recommendations?

-
Only layering a t-shirt is fine, but if it's actually uncomfortable in the chest and/or arms I wouldn't keep it. They won't really give and you probably won't wear it much long term.
-
@Domi in your second photo, you can see where the creases at your arm pits are showing, indicating it is too narrow there. that'll stay uncomfortable in the long run. i'd get in touch with the crew to ask for an XXL with shorter than usual sleeves. if they can find one for you, that would be the best choice.
-
@tody I can see clearly what you mean. That is exactly how it feels: snug in the arm pits. Guess it would stretch out a little with wearing. But I will follow my feel and size it up to XXL.
Thanks for your hints!

I did just email the team and see what was left for the tag Ls since I sized up and just feel this XL is too big. So either way it's coming back if anyone needs an XL be on the lookout
