@Indigo-Alchemist Why? That would pair nicely with the OD

@Larkens Well, well and then there are still the releases of the FW25 collection.
It’s like playing roulette — you need to think carefully about where to put your money

Happy Hallowe'en

Good evening guys,
Looking for a fit check and opinion.
I've coveted this jacket for years and finally decided to pull the trigger on an XL from a popular UK retailer as IHUK are out of stock. This is a size up from my 526PJ and I think it was the correct decision as it feels a lot more comfortable and still retains a trim fit.
However, the jacket arrived with clear white abrasions on the folded corners of the collar. Also the corner of the patch is missing stitches and is loose. Would this be a dealbreaker to anyone else? The abrasions were immediately noticeable on opening it as they are pure white with all the dye rubbed away. I planned to beat this thing to death as we all do but this doesn't seem right for a brand new item.
Exchange isn't an option as it is the last one in stock (maybe because of the imperfections).

-
Also, please ignore the joggers!
-
So far as I can tell from a quick search, the last 3 restocks were approx 2 years apart from each other (6/2025, 7/2023, 11/2021). So you'd probably be looking at 2027 for the next one. If the retailer did not disclose those marks, you might be able to successfully get a little refund.
Doesn't seem like a real big deal, though. Especially for a piece like this that is handled so harshly in the manufacturing process and kinda hits the ground running with the ol' wabisabi as a result.
-
@RitchieCDog Even mine was missing a few stitches in the patch, and for a couple of years no other stitches have been missing, never mind these little imperfections make these jackets even more beautiful in my opinion, I wouldn't give this too much weight and I would enjoy this splendid jacket
-
@RitchieCDog I'll check my patch later, but honestly I personally wouldn't mind. My jacket did not look "pristine" when I received it, which doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment I get from wearing it. Plus, the abrasions are on a part of the jacket where I probably wouldn't notice them anyway, and with enough wear you will make this jacket yours and yours only, if you decide to keep it. Just my opinion.
As a general note, and I have written this before, the thing I enjoy most about my Iron Heart pieces is that they reflect my lifestyle and how I wear them. They are totally unique and that makes every piece I own special to me
-
@RitchieCDog It's been like this for two years and it hasn't changed, I just very carefully burned the wire that was sticking out but I probably could have done nothing and left everything as it was

-
@RitchieCDog I would say the fit is good.

Bored at work, little pic to add. Going give first wash this weekend, will post before and after pics. -
@RitchieCDog totally understand what you’re feeling man. You’re thinking:
“I paid a ton of money for this jacket!”
“This seems like I’m not getting a perfect starting point for my fade journey.”You’re totally justified in those feelings. I will say, those collar abrasions will be some of the first areas of high wear you’re going to get and they will melt away into all the other rad progress you earn with this jacket. You’ll be getting sick fades all over before you know it, and those spots on the collar will be forever forgotten even faster.
The patch is also a fair concern, but again, one that almost certainly isn’t going to devolve into anything other than your jacket being unique and yours. Worst case scenario…the boys in Gos will make quick work of making sure that patch never moves a millimeter.
Again, you paid a bunch and need to be stoked. But I’d be willing to bet if you stick with the jacket, you’re gonna be super psyched on it after a day or two wearing that beauty.
-
@RitchieCDog great fit and the imperfections wouldn't bother me in any way. Go on with your journey and wear the hell out of this beauty

@jerkules
Looking so sick man. She a beauty of a jacket! Curios if kept count of how many wears?
