IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
I find the garment softens, considerably, but doesn't stretch.
-
@Josso the arms stretch for sure. Maybe just get the XL too and have both.
-

-
@jordanscollected I actually packed it away — turned out mine was one size too big according to my wife. Luckily there were still a few left in XL, so I’m really looking forward to getting it swapped for the right size. Sending my return package tomorrow. Cheers!
-
@Mizmazzle really my favourite CPO at the moment! Also love the fact that with the OD I dont have to worry about shrink when washing...
-
@Cskarev perfect fit if I ever saw one!
-
@Mizmazzle yeah.. brief soak.. short wash no spin. Still get some limited marbeling, but washed perhaps 3 times now.
-
Apologies for asking a perhaps ignorant question, but does this shirt fade from OD black to some version of blue? Assuming very limited washing and no particular interest in encouraging fades etc.
-
Very helpful, thank you. Is there some adjacent interesting option where the fade is not so pronounced, or doesn't even exist? Would that be something like below, which admittedly is a work shirt and not a CPO etc?
https://ironheart.co.uk/collections/shirts/products/ihsh-338-blkOr this?

If you are OK with a workshirt version, sign up for restock notifications for this:

Thank you very much! Looks like restock is coming sooner rather than later....

Work uniform.

Got mine today, I like it 100% more than the selfedge 19oz . This is much softer and more like a thick sheet, where the other was like a rug. I'm conflicted on keeping it though as it's slightly too big(I sized up to an xl). I'll try it on with a UHF later, but being so soft has me wondering if I'll even lose any sleeve length with creasing.
Possible to get more shrink out of???
-
@Denimminer You will not be able to get any more shrink out of this. Overdyed items are handled in such a way that eliminates any potential shrinkage.
Edit: Regarding sizing. I don't think that it looks bad and would work great for most individuals intended purpose of a shacket (shirt/jacket).
-
@Denimminer those sleeves will crease up for sure.
-
@Denimminer i’d been thinking about grabbing an XL, but I’ve been wearing my large almost everyday the last week and it feels perfect now.
-
@Denimminer Man, I hope mine fits that good when I get it!
You’re description of the way it wears is exactly what I’m hoping for too!
