If you ever plan to do it ask me when it's the best time. It can be a huge mess and super disappointing especially during holidays or summer weekends when masses of people, cyclists, motorbikes, cars and my very special friends camper vans create a huge traffic jam. The turns are quite narrow it's easier and much more fun when it is not too crowded.

@Chap definitely mate. I've seen videos where people tour in peak summer and the whole pass is a parking garage full of what you've mentioned.

@louisbosco I had that once, well alomst. Late September on a weekday in the early morning. Fog in the valley blue sky on the top, already too chiily for cyclists, road still a bit wet so nor motorbikes, just a Aston Martin group from the UK, some locals.. and me. It was brilliant.

Probably going to sell it due to complete lack of use for what it should be used for
An 8 km round trip school run isn’t making the most out of it really

Hey everyone, new to this forum but have lurked here and there over the years. Was pretty active on SuFu years back.

Anyway, just thought I’d show off a pic of my humble little weekend cruiser, Abarth 124 spider 6MT. For those who are unaware, these were assembled in Hiroshima on the same assembly line as the 4th gen (ND) Miata using the same frame and almost everything else. Major differences are obviously exterior bits, but also the transmission is from the 3rd gen Miata NC to handle the increased torque from Fiat’s multi air 1.4L engine. For me, this car is the spiritual successor to the 2nd gen Mazdaspeed Miata.

Mostly stock, as I don’t want to stress out this already high strung little engine. It’s a fun little car, though.

@Subprime back in 2008/09 I had a C230 hatch 6MT. That was a pretty cool car. It had the panoramic retractable sunroof before that was a more common feature. I’ll always have a fondness for 2000’s Benz’s

The Defender was my previous car, a the Vantage the one before that. The Spider was given to me by my friend, sorry of payment for work, but it was my first car. He even paid for the insurance.

I currently drive an Audi a6 Allroad that the original owner got painted to match his Bentley, so it’s 1 of 1. But very run of the mill. I adore it.
