IHSH-295-IB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Indigo/Black
-
@americanathreads I wouldn’t say that I gained any extra room after breaking in, but it did conform to my body and felt way more comfortable. These heavy shirts always feel a bit cloister phobic to me at first, but quickly conform and become like comfy armor.
-
@Mizmazzle Thanks. With the weather cooling down this shirt gets more wear.
-
@twin great work! I have one sitting in the closet waiting for me

-
@FlavourFade Well then you MUST wear it.
-
@twin I am putting the work in my 422 right now but will get the 295 out soon
-
There are so many beautiful examples of this shirt in this thread I got inspired to put some time into it as my main piece. Still super early, but excited to see how it evolves over the fall and winter. It is my daily driver at work right now and my burts bees is always accessible in my front pocket for the Sahara Desert hands I get to deal with in the colder weather.

@derek111 Love this one! It’s on my list to pick up but missed the last drop so will have to wait a while.
-
Indigo just poppin in yesterday’s sunshine here in Boulder, CO

-
@derek111 copper looks great
-
Is this beauty coming back in stock soon?
For those who own, how does it pair with the IB jeans, and how warm is it?
-
@samuellschulman won't be back for a while i'm afraid. Only restocked fairly recently
-
Thank you!
-
@samuellschulman They say when you drink bourbon the warm feeling that you get is called the "Kentucky Hug" The 14OZ denim shirts give you the Iron Heart clothing equivalent of the aforementioned Kentucky Hug. Someone help me out with a name for it,I got nothing. I've worn my 295IB with Black/Black,Indigo/Black,and traditional Indigo denim, and it has paired well with all. Sorry but I don't have pictures.
-
@samuellschulman If I wear denim on denim then only in different states of fade. The 295 is definetly a warmer shirt, it's a very dense weave and feels quite stiff and heavy what makes it a great a grear year round piece, light jacket in summer, worn open in the evening or badass heavy shirt in fall/ winter
-
I’m convincing myself the 33T is better for me….because it’s getting restocked.
-
@samuellschulman all the 33's are great shirts. Easy to wear, not really anything to break in but still rugged and durable. You can wear the hell out of a 33 and then add the 295 once they restock.
