okay, so I just checked out Jolyon's analysis, and despite singing his praises earlier, I gotta disagree with him on Oscar being free from liability in the sprint inchident. While do agree that it was a racing inchident, and also agree there was no need to penalize (DNF was penalty enough, especially including his teammate), Oscar was the primary cause, at least more than anyone else. Any other situation, that switchback squaring off the corner would have been a fantastic move, but not the first corner, where there is guaranteed to be half the field coming through that gap that he closed without reading the risk of that move in those conditions. It would have worked any other time. I think some cracks are forming from the pressure, but I also think he'll still get the WDC. Maybe the stewards did consider him at fault during their investigation but decided he'd punished himself enough already...

Don't get me wrong, I'm an Oscar fan, but I'm still rooting for the best driver on the grid to get his 5th. Its funny because he's an underdog this year.

Watching his post-race interview, I don't think Max is an underdog. I think he is enjoying the challenge of fighting back. Only thing more dangerous than an angry Max, might just be a happy Max.

It's going to be a tight end to the season.

Those stands in Mexico makes it looks like the circuit drives through a football stadium. Must be an awesome vibe.

Atmosphere was electric. They love their F1 down here and when Checo comes back in a Cadillac it’ll be even crazier.

It was an awesome race especially for someone pulling for Lando this season, and especially as an admirer of Max. I feel like Lewis was shafted by race control, and the VSC at the end denied us a spicy overtake battle between Charles and Max, but aside from those things a perfect race.

Lando has a lot of haters. I don’t get it. I think some of it is OP fans (some of that lot are so crazy they entertain conspiracy theories that McLaren has nerfed his car). Red Bull and Ferrari are also quite popular there, so perhaps some of the hate was coming from those fan bases.

We were in 15, the north stands in the stadium, for qualy, and then 14, the south stands in the stadium, for the race. While I am curious about other areas, this was a great area for sure.

Never thought of visiting Mexico for a race but it sounds great.

How were the travel logistics getting in and out of the track each day?

@Bridger we stayed in La Condesa, which is a great area because it is safe, clean, and has a a lot of very nice local cafes, bars, restaurants, and clubs. I will not even look elsewhere in future trips, it was that good. When we went to other neighborhoods, they were cool, but for example Polanco, where we had a tasting at Pujol, it felt nice but less local, less authentically Mexican, more international shopping, etc. Roma Norte was another nice, but not Condesa nice, area.

The brown line metro from there was a direct shot. For our seats, best to use the Velodrome station, for others, one station further. This was 7 stops from a 15 minute walk on each end, and about another 15 minutes on a train that runs every 3 minutes.

                              Think it, be it.
