Someone called it a California coast jacket in the thread for the other colorway. So I guess if you are looking for a proper winter jacket maybe the oiled one.

@Northman Ok thanks. The winter where I am should be 20F-50F so not super cold. I heard you can just leave it unzipped for the N1. Does that make sense?

Tough to say. Anything wool/alpaca lined I have unzipped until 30F. Depends so much on the person. Maybe someone else can share their opinion.

For reference I am 6ft, 40" chest and I wear a Large in our UHF's. I am wearing a Medium in this, which is my usual sizing in most "IHM's"

This is me wearing the 2XL in the lightweight N1, absolutely perfect! just wearing a tee underneath still had room for a jumper or shirt.
