Next to the well known crowded hot spots in the Austrian Alps, there are a lot of nature parks without tourists industry.
Even when one valley has an Alpine hut with catering, hop over into the next and there is literally loneliness.
Unfortunately it was a bit late into the year for hiking onto the high mountains (not for the dog, but for parts of the family ).
