Edit: that is not my foot over the welt, weird leather crease
Tasty! That's a build I've not seen before. Looks like a cross between their Boss and a western roper cowboy boot. Sweet!

Wearing these alot lately. Very happy they easily fit under 777. My favorite forum purchase so far. Not to mention how high the price has gone on the new ones.

@jfive67 Beauties! Out of curiosity, why the black overdye as opposed to buying a black base boot? DIY teacore project?
-
Ive been after a 2030 in black teacore for a while, specifically wanting a plain toes and a commando/ridgeway sole. It seemed like Viberg was trending away from what I was looking for. Most 2030s are cap toed, with new plain toes mostly being either 1035 or navvy boots. I scored these brown cypress a while back on eBay and they weren’t getting worn so I asked unsung guys to overdye them like some other boots I have. Kind of a shortcut to getting that look if brown peaking out from black
-
@jfive67 Very cool, and understandable route given the limited options now, as you mentioned.
-
@CosmoSix5 What are the details on those boots? Leather or shop variant? Didn't think I would want a green pair of boots til now.
-
@j6550 they're Wesco Mr Lou made for The Shop Vancouver. I lucked out and got them second hand here on the forum. There are a few sizes available ATM if you're lucky. Amd don't mind tariffs
-
These are so good. I think I got them right before the tariffs hit, but for the next two pairs from TJ, I paid tariffs on one($30)and not the other.
️ Just had to pay an extra $130 on the IHG Morrison boots.
-
@CosmoSix5 I'm surprised about the tariffs bc I thought if the product originated from this side a tariff wouldn't apply. Unless we're paying the tariff back that applied to the boots going there.
-
To my understanding you’d be paying the tariff back that applied to the goods going there.
