It comes strictly from loving this thing.  Probably my favorite other than the 08

on the fence?  you've got to go for this one if you can.  one of a kind shirt probably unlikely to ever have anything similar from any brand…

Yeah man, it's the cat's ass for sure.

This shirt's unreal, really tempted, quick question though, does the colour bleed quite a bit? Not a dealbreaker for me, just curious.

I have an OD flannel and it dosen't bleed.  Not sure about these but fuck it since I wear black 90% of the time anyways.

that bit of info is very good to have.  i always foolishly assumed if an item is dyed it will bleed.

I'm also interested in knowing how much bleeding occurs.

The od chambray transferred color only on the first few wears. I would assume this shirt has more because of the nature of indigo.

Yeah, probably little to none.  Certainly after alot of wear.  My OD type III never transfered that I noticed either but I also never wore with a white shirt.  Black tees are primary for me all the time.

we need an indepth write up from you on one of these shirts.

i am actually looking forward to the tripleworks indigo dyed shirt with the red ventalition holes we got a peek at a few weeks back during the japan trip.  think that will be my one indigo dyed shirt. . .

my suspicion: after the first wash you could wear whatever you want.  If in doubt, wear black.  I wear it anyways because I'm always fucking up my shirts (i dont get my ass back and head down when i eat, because i'm too ADD and distracted, like my cat).

I was considering getting this one but I really don't need another flannel at the moment and wanted a bit more data on how they will wear over time.  I don't remember seeing anything similar from any brand.  But I guess not knowing is half the fun….

are we interested in the bleeding to see what wear/changes it will show or because we wear expensive undershirts?

I've worn mine a couple times and didn't notice anything but I'd also had a bit to drink and honestly don't care about bleeding.  it's a shirt, I wear it.

I appreciate your analytical nature, doc.  buy it and drop some science…

no my tees are not too expensive.  i did grab a bunch of tees from the outlier as is sale & they aren't too shabby.

just curious how the hell the shirt will give up that dye & those black buttons, will that black chip away to reveal something else?

if i could get over the buttons i would get this shirt, but i just can't get around or over the buttons 😞

G did mention something about putting standard buttons, maybe i hit him up & ask him about it . . .

i was in the same boat on the buttons but once I saw it in person it didn't matter.  they're not painted over or anything, if they chip they'll just…  chip 🙂

I'm not worried about my t shirts but rather uneven fading.  I saw this a bit in the lower back on the od chambray.  It's most likely from sitting in a chair most of the day.

Yeah, but jeans wear unevenly, is that not one of the main reasons for wearing stuff that fades, it documents what we do…...?
