Outside of Stevie Ray, there’s not a ton of great blues albums from the 80s. Here is one
-
hard to choose the best album by favourite artist - but this is the one that does everything for me. sure, surfer rosa was exciting, also my introduction to pixies, a slap on the face, and then doolitle and even bossanova. still, this one. no way i was going to miss this 30th anniversary edition.

Great album @prpx
Subbacultcha is one my fave Pixies tracks
However, it is Doolittle for me, just too many hits. It opens with the screams of Debaser and closes with a masterclass of the Pixies' loud quiet loud with Gouge Away.
We all have our favs which is fun, but everything they did up to 91 was the shit.

Trompe Le Monde was the first Pixies album I got, way back in the early 90s. Not sure it's my favourite of theirs per se, but definitely the one with the most memories.
-
kudos to all of you, those awkward people brought us so much unforgettable music. just wonderful

@Bridger said in Wax Treasure (Vinyl):
the Pixies' loud quiet loud with Gouge Away.
IMO that's their signature song

100% @endo
The space. The timing. The build. Deal's backing vocal coming in. The wailing guitar. The stark lyrics.
2 mins 42 seconds of fuck off genius!
I think there is a quote from Bono, being one of the biggest bands in the world after Joshua Tree saying they were uncool having not heard Surfer Rosa yet.

Buying Vinyl willst traveling is always a challenge.
Shrink was ruined by accident.
This ones story isn’t short … in between my 10 minutes for records during our family trip to Hamburg.
Snatched this, around 30*seconds away from the RubiLotti we stayed in. Sure some forum members can recognize.
On hold and now full of expectations.
Don’t trust the Hype about this record

@GraemeE Impossible Germany is such a good song, their best I think.
