Pure Blue Japan Sashiko Jackets
Type II & III Styles - Indigo/Black & Grey/BlackPure Blue Japan pay tribute to traditional sashiko stitching in these Type II and Type III jackets. Sashiko—meaning “little stabs”—is a centuries-old Japanese technique used to reinforce and decorate garments. Here, a custom jacquard weave replicates that same knurled texture, adding depth and character to two classic jacket silhouettes. Available in Grey/Black and Indigo/Black.

Straight & Slim Tapered FitsIndigo warp, black weft denim occupies a unique place in any wardrobe. Worn lightly, it’s a great option for those seeking a sharper, more refined look. Pure Blue Japan has released an Indigo/Black version of its flagship XX denim—14oz, pleasingly slubby, and available in both straight-leg and slim tapered fits.

Jacquard Woven, IndigoThe “Random Dot” pattern on this open-collar shirt isn’t printed but jacquard woven. The motif is part of the fabric itself. Here, indigo and grey threads meet in a slubby, textured weave that will soften and evolve with every wear.

19oz, IndigoA burly take on the Type III Trucker, sewn up in a 19oz indigo rope-dyed denim. The left-hand twill weave creates extra heft and promises pronounced fading down the line.

IH-888D Duck Jeans
17oz, Brown, StraightIron Heart’s classic “634” straight-cut jean style now comes in a tough-as-nails 17oz cotton duck. Duck is denim’s older brother - a plain weave fabric that has its own unique break-in process. It softens but maintains a nice bit of structure, and it fades with a chalky, dusty charm over time. 666 Slim Straights and 777 Slim Taperers coming very soon.

@Danny-RnH What a fabulous editorial! Johnny articulates so well our passions for well made clothing. I struggle sometimes to explain my own obsession with my Iron Heart denim, but Johnny’s statements on tribal traits, community and inclusion and most importantly the connection between the clothes we love and the music we love are bang on.
As he says, it’s definitely not a vanity thing; but the point made about the relevance of gangs is super interesting and something I can totally relate to! -

It’s knit from a 7oz, organic cotton jersey using hanging loopwheel machines. This gravity-fed knitting method creates a textured tee with structure and volume. Heavy neck ribbing and triangle inserts at the underarms help maintain that great fit over time.They’re joined by restocks of the 2M15 and 2M15C, two subtle alternatives that are slightly lighter in weight and have side seams with a subtle change in fit. The 2M15 has a traditional length for tucking. The 2M15C is cropped with a boxier silhouette.
