IH-526Lod - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo Overdyed Black

@Tobi I had both too and would say the 142 is more what you are looking for. The lefty od is softer than the indigo one but still hefty and I would not be comfortable with it all day inside. The 14oz one does fade slower and with less contrast but drapes faster

@CosmoSix5 it seems you have both the 14oz OD Type III and the lefty (OD). Any concluding words to help decide between them? Having the indigo lefty I have some level of "crunch PTSD" and ideally want a type III that I can wear indoors all day (in winter), as opposed to wear "as a jacket only"...
The 14oz is easily your choice. It's really nice and soft. Very comfortable for a denim jacket. I got the lefty to stand up on its own last night. Albeit only shortly but I've worn it 5 or 6 times already
. If you're a 46 head to the buying and selling page
There is a little more room in the sleeve on the 14oz also. My watch and bracelets have a hard time under the lefty, not so noticeable with 14oz -
Thanks @FlavourFade and @CosmoSix5! In the meantime I have successfully talked myself into snapping up the last OD lefty xxxl on IH UK. I have the indigo version.. and if the OD is even only a bit softer I can live with that
Also reconsidered my use case and would likely not wear a Type III indoors at work all day anyway. Now I just need to resist the urge to buy the purple UHF later today.. -

@Tobi I'm 100% confident purple would look great with an OD type 3
Don't I know it! I have, however, discovered that I already own 6 UHF, and also sizing is not working out... so easy to pass...

@Tobi I'm happy my advice meant nothing to you
It was the same advice that meant nothing to me either..... -
@CosmoSix5 no offence
.. appreciate the response!

LeftyOD over kasuri dyed PBJ. The 70° days are over for a while after today!

Ugh....I just pulled the trigger on one. Couldn't resist.

@CosmoSix5
I'm here for you -
Hi everyone,
Have any of you gotten a jacket which both sides don't line up? I am not the most OCD person but I have the left side which is quite crooked and I haven't seen it on any other of my type 3s, is it due to the left hand twill? And if any of you has, does it improve with time as the jacket relaxes?
Thanks, -
@sabergirl indeed I realize this is not super clear
Here you go, the right side is quite "curved" and makes the front a bit asymetric. it can accentuate even more with movement.
Thanks for the help,
-
What's it like buttoned up
-
@hjl360 It's visible that the lower part curve outwards. No big deal but feel a bit off when still new/rigid as the jacket tends to flare outward.
