@anodyne Wish I could grow a beard worthy of some type of oil…it would just make the skin patches that don’t grow in look shiny. Then I’d have to put the AKT on the shiny patchy spots to reduce shine.

Just ordered the custom discovery set from Fulton &Roarke. Picked out some scents that seemed intriguing. Stoked to try em!

Don't want to spoil the party, but I thought it might be helpful to say that I don't think the AKT deodorant is that great for me.

pros:

• works well against sweat
• smells good (got the grey)

cons:

• is applied with the hands, which then smell all day long. I hate that.
• it‘s fucking expensive
• the tube cap is difficult to handle

I‘ll stick with my Speick.

I agree it’s very expensive. Personally I don’t mind the size of the cap or having to use my hands. I don’t notice a lingering smell on my hands. I don’t even wash them after and it doesn’t bother me. I don’t find the smell to be overly present throughout the day. The lack of sweat and BO is the best I’ve ever experienced in any deodorant I’ve used so I can live with the price.

But I appreciate your opinion. Nothing is for everyone. Except Wu Tang.

day two and completely agree. Even after washing my hands twice they still smell, which isnt a problem at all, until I start eating food like grapes or something one eats with their finger tips or even drinking coffee/tea in the morning where fingers are close to the nose.

Gonna buy a bamboo applicator tool rather than their ridiculous from akt, because otherwise enjoying this stuff. I can't tell though if it's noticeably strong to other people or if it's just being on my fingers. Don't like things to be too strong for other people who are sensitive to smells.

I’m finding the AKT works well. Not too strong of a smell for me. If anything could be a bit stronger. But that’s where the Fulton & Roark comes in perhaps.

I’ve noticed a solid 2 days of normal activity oder protection seems to be the longevity I’m experiencing.

I don’t find the smell itself when applied to be particularly strong but Katie has commented in the noticeable absence of stink towards the end of the day and following workouts.
